Pünktchen and Anton, the story of a friendship between two children from different backgrounds. While Pünktchen comes from a rich family, Antons mother doesn't know where he will be having his next plate of food. Antons mother is sick and can't work, this is why Pünktchen begs every night on the streets with his friend to win some money. While these overnight walks are fascinating adventures for Pünktchen, they are a daily fight to survive for Anton. Kästners children classic celebrated the directors new edition which was very successful at the Burgtheater casino. For the first time in the history of Burgtheater the main roles will be played by children between 9 and 13 years old.
